The Larvotto promenade and beach

Things to do and see in Monaco

Larvotto Boulevard was opened in 1956 on the place of the old railroad, built in the end of the nineteenth century on a once swampy spot. The Larvotto beach is the key center of attraction for everyone in Monaco in summer, and the little area bay is a beautiful place for promenades all year round.

Grimaldi Forum, located next to the Japanese Garden, is a futuristic building carved in stone and glass, facing the seashore. It is the newest congress center, built within the framework of the concept of the Principality as a center for conferences and business meetings.

Have a look at the local soccer Walk of Fame. Here, at the promenade, you can see the foot- and handprints of the famous soccer players and goalies, with the last names across the world.
