Prince Albert visits Monaco’s Seafront Extension Site
HSH the Sovereign Prince visited the site of the future Anse du Portier and the Fallpipe Vessel, which uses a robotic arm to move 30,000 tonnes of stones. These stones have been specially developed in a quarry to meet the physical and mechanical properties necessary to support 18 caissons, each weighing 10,000 tons. The stones will form the foundation of the future Eco-district.
Prince Albert II at the Winter Olympics
HSH Prince Albert II participated in the Olympic Torch Relay in Pyongyang, South Korea, as a prelude to the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony. Monaco’s athletes then participated in the Olympic Games opening ceremony in front of nearly 35,000 spectators and in the presence of Prince Albert II. Greece opened the ceremony before the other participating countries paraded alphabetically, according to the Korean alphabet. Monaco was thus in 20th position. During the presentation of the Monegasque athletes, Prince Albert declared that for South Korea and its region, subject to international tensions, the Olympic Games will be a moment of enthusiasm, sharing, friendship and solidarity. South and North Korea, who marched together, sent a powerful message of peace.

Camille Gottlieb Breaks the Silence about her Family
19 year old Camille Gottlieb recently made some very beautiful statements about her family. In an interview with Point de Vue magazine, she said that although her parents, Princess Stephanie and Jean-Raymond Gottlieb, did not stay together, they get along very well and remind Camille that they are both over-joyed that she was brought into this world. Camille following steps of her mother, is a lover of animals. She even has traveled to Asia and helped raise baby tigers. She also voiced her love and admiration for her family, especially her mother whom she calls “super maman”.
