Prince Albert supports new Beekeeping Union
On Tuesday, the Sovereign went to Marseilles to support the creation of UAEM, the new Beekeeping Union of Europe and the Mediterranean. The Sovereign Prince was welcomed by the two founding co-chairs of the Union at the Palais du Pharo.
Fervent defender of the environment, Prince Albert believes that the bee situation in Europe and the Mediterranean is extremely worrying. By bringing together 42 countries and business leaders, UAEM hopes to protect the future of bees, honey and beekeepers, as well as the future of the planet.

The next Apiday will take place on Friday 15 June.
