Victoria Silvstedt, the first cover Model for HelloMonaco Magazine is making another splash.
Just as HelloMonaco is launching its Winter 2018/2019 issue and thinking of that first successful cover with Victoria just over a year ago, we are delighted to include Victoria again in HelloMonaco and disclose what she is up to lately.
Even though you see Victoria regularly on Italian TV and in celebrity events in Monaco do you know where she lived as a child? It was in a beautiful virgin mountain and lake area in northern Sweden. There lies some of the purest water in the world fed from a natural spring.
Victoria, when she wasn’t splashing in the lakes was already on the ascent as a teenager, trying out for the Swedish junior ski team and succeeding. She remembers the beauty of the area, the absolute lack of pollution, its virgin purity. And close to her own home was the beautiful town of Are (pronounced 0-re). There bubbles some of the purest water in the world that is so pure that Monaco Yacht Show adopted it in 2017 as its official water for the Show.
So when Victoria is not modelling for HelloMonaco, or attending celebrity events in Monaco where she now lives, she is lending her image to Are Water.
Environment, sustainability, defeating pollution, health are increasingly important themes in Monaco and pure water from natural springs feeds well into our new focus. Interestingly Victoria’s role as Ambassador of Are Water is getting attention in not only Monaco and the French Riviera but also in Asia, particularly Hong Kong. Beautiful models, pure water, the glitter and royalty of Monaco are all fascinating and much in demand in the Asian market.
More and more, people in Hong Kong and Singapore and mainland China want to keep up to speed on Monaco and on Victoria and also about her latest launch of pure spring water.
HelloMonaco was interested in discovering what makes a fine, healthy pure water. Mountains and natural lakes, lack of industry, including absence of large-scale farming, all reduces pollution. The natural mineral content of the water must be low on nitrates, and of course no additives. And Are Water has the advantage of rock and sand basins, formed in the ice age, that act as natural filters. All this means that Victoria did her homework well because Are Water has the highest classification in terms of purity of Spring water. It’s won a series of prizes too, three gold medals in France in gourmet water competitions.
Life as a model is not always as easy and glamorous as it appears. It’s difficult to believe that at the start of her career Victoria was criticized for looking too athletic because she was so sporty. They even told her to be more curvy. No criticism though for how bubbly and curvaceous Victoria is now. She was a smash hit on the HelloMonaco cover. The Are Water is pure and comes like Victoria in a bubbly version too. Monaco residents are fortunate to have the opportunity to see Victoria and taste pure spring water often.
