Unfortunaltely, Roca Team won’t take part in demi-final of French Cup. Now the team from Antibes, Sharks will continue its way.
It was a very intense game which, alas, finished by the loss of the Monegasque team. But it is never simple to beat the same team two times in a row. Monegasque already won over Sharks last Friday (90-84) but they didn’t manage to repeat their success.
The game of yesterday started with the Sharks advantage, they won the first quarter (19-13), but Roca team pulled themselves together and dominated fiercely on the field during the second quarter, winning it eventually (18-32). That didn’t help them to win the game. Even the third quarter which they won again (20-22) didn’t change much regarding their loss in the last quarter (28-13). All the efforts of Roca team players were in vain, Shark from Antibes goes in demi-final.
“This is an excellent team and they don’t deserve to occupy the last place in the rankings”, – told Yakuba Ouattara after the game.
