A record-breaking turnout

Race director Bastien Isaia celebrated this year’s turnout, which marked the third-highest participation in the event’s history. After a challenging post-Covid period, it was exciting for him to see so many runners back on the course. The goal has always been to combine safety, enjoyment, and the breathtaking views of Monaco for every participant.

Isaia lavished praise on the 100 volunteers who helped ensure the event’s success. Recruiting such a large number is never easy. They are the special ingredient behind the race, making sure every runner has a smooth and memorable experience.

Winners emerge on a challenging course

Festivities and goodwill take centre stage

More than just a race, the Giru de Natale embodied the festive spirit. Some participants donned Christmas-themed outfits, adding a touch of holiday cheer to the event. True to its tradition of community support, this year’s race partnered with the charity Be Safe, donating €2,000 to their cause. Princess Alexandra of Hanover herself was on hand to award prizes to the top runners.

Beyond the race itself, the organizers ensured a seamless experience for participants. Technical T-shirts, shower facilities, lockers, and changing rooms were provided, along with a raffle offering the chance to win a helicopter ride.
