The Europe Junior Masters Monte-Carlo tennis tournament brings junior tennis players together to fight for the title from 13th to 15th October at the Monte Carlo Country Club courts. There are eight players in each category.
Seventeen European countries are represented at the tournament, including a large delegation from Russia and the Czech Republic. Nicola Josic the young player from Switzerland and the recent winner of the European Championship in the Under-14 category will also be in attendance.
The Monte Carlo Country Club will be the focal point for this prestigious tournament these days, where young tennis players will battle it out in a series of matches on the clay courts that usually host the world’s best adult ATP tournament players in April. There is no doubt that among these young champions are the future great names in world tennis.
Let’s not forget that Rafael Nadal in 2000, Alexander Zverev in 2011 and Kim Clijsters in 1997 won these competitions.
The event, which is held for the first time in Monaco under the High Patronage of HSH Prince Albert II, will be broadcast on Monaco Info (finals on Friday 15th October) and on the TennisChannel website.
