ABDOU DIALLO

“I’m very proud of my career in AS Monaco so far, and hope there will still be a lot more for to experience here. I’ve been introduced to the training centre, the French youth teams, the professional world, and the Champions League. Everything is going brilliantly, and I’ll keep on doing everything I can to repay the club and the coach for the faith they have shown in me.”

Abdou Diallo, who will turn 21 on 4 May, arrived in the Principality on 1 July 2011. The U21 international came through the Academy and made his professional debut for AS Monaco during the 2014-15 season. After spending last season on loan at Zulte Waregem (Belgian first division), the defender has made six appearances so far this term.

LOIC BADIASHILE

“Between the Gambardella, and making my professional debut, there have been some great moments for me in these last few months, and this contract extension is another very important day for me. I’m very happy to be part of the first team squad, and to be able to learn from Dédé Amitrano alongside two top goalkeepers, Danijel Subasic and Morgan De Sanctis.”

Loïc Badiashile (19 on 5 February), who this season joined the first team squad under the supervision of André Amitrano alongside Danijel Subasic, Morgan de Sanctis and Seydou Sy, is also a product of the AS Monaco Academy.

Regularly called up to the national teams (for the U16s, then the U18s and an U19 tournament in August), Badiashile arrived in Monaco iin the summer of 2013. He won the Coupe Gambardella in 2016 and was given a baptism of fire with the first team a few weeks later, replacing Morgan De Sanctis against Fenerbahçe in Istanbul and doing a fine job (Champions League Q3).
