AS Monaco and Catawiki, the leading online auction platform for the purchase and sale of collectibles, announced a new collaboration.
By forging this partnership with the platform Catawiki, AS Monaco will allow its supporters to regularly participate in online auctions of unique pieces items its matches, most of which have been worn and signed by the players.
A special auction following Monaco – PSG
Rouge et Blanc fans will thus be able to acquire collector items, real pieces of the history of the Club, and keep a material memory of some of the most memorable matches played by the players from the Rock. To mark the beginning of their collaboration, AS Monaco and Catawiki have launched a special auction with the 11 players who started the win against Paris Saint-Germain (3-1), on February 11.
An exceptional lot including a Club jersey autographed by the whole team, as well as an exclusive private visit to the Performance Center, is also up for auction. The entire amount raised will be donated to the Flavien Foundation, a Monegasque organization committed to the fight against pediatric cancers and supported by the two clubs on the occasion of their meeting.
Catawiki is already involved in in other sports
Other auctions will be organized by the end of the season, and then next season as well. In addition to this initiative, as usual, players will naturally be able to continue to exchange or offer their shirts to supporters at the end of the matches.
Catawiki counts among its recent partners several of the important players in international sport, such as the Team Jumbo Visma cycling team, from whom unique bicycles used in the Tour de France 2022 were auctioned last year, the Dutch cyclist Amy Pieters, or even the fastest marathon runner in the world, Eliud Kipchoge, with a collection dedicated to his passion for sport.
