The 23rd International Judo tournament will take place at the Stadium Louis-II Sports Hall from 9:30 am on Sunday, December 11th. Admission is free.
Eric Bessi, President of the Judo Club of Monaco, discusses the preparation of the International Judo Tournament in the Principality and the International teams which will participate.
“We have a relatively prestigious platform where selected nationals from Russia, Georgia, Armenia will participate. We also will have a large Romanian club. Spain is also preparing to launch a team. For Monaco, we are waiting to launch a team, but unfortunately 3 of our athletes, notably my son Cédric and Yann Siccardi are injured, so it is difficult to replace them at this stage. But we are still trying to put a team together.
We also have the best teams from the First French division and one Italian Club, who will join us with their teams.”
Sunday the 11th of December from 9:30 a.m., Salle Omnisports Stade Louis II, free entry. Winning teams will receive the Gérard Bertrand Trophy.
