The Prince of Monaco has once again tested positive for Covid-19, according to the Princely Palace reports. However, the illness is proceeding without obvious and pronounced symptoms and his state of health is not a cause for concern. He works remotely, being in constant contact with members of his cabinet, government and close staff.
This is the second time Prince Albert II has been infected with the Covid-19 virus. The last time he tested positive was on 19th March 2020, at the start of the pandemic, which also forced him into self-isolation mode at the Princely palace.
Prince Albert II was due to attend the Stony Brook Gala in New York last Wednesday, where he was to receive an award. However, due to the virus, this trip was also cancelled.
