Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II attend Charity Gala in Courchevel

The Princely Couple attended the third edition of a charity gala for the benefit of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the Courchevel Sports Club.

The Princely Couple attended the third edition of a charity gala for the benefit of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the Courchevel Sports Club. The event took place at the Ineos Club House in Courchevel on 20 February. Under the honorary presidency of Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene and Jim Ratcliffe, who was also in attendance, more than 200 personalities from the worlds of sport, art and business came together to support young people and the values of sport.

A silent auction, led by auctioneer Jussi Pylkkänen, saw about thirty exceptional lots sold. Among the treasures for sale were unique works of art, private meetings with sports champions and experiences in the world of sport. Courchevel will host events during the 2030 Winter Olympic Games, which will be taking place in the French Alps.

Prince Albert II attends Gilles Kepel’s conference on the Israel-Gaza War

Prince Albert II was among the one-hundred guests at a conference by Gilles Kepel, university professor and specialist in the Middle East and contemporary Islam, given at One Monte-Carlo on 5 February 2025. The professor presented his latest work ‘The Upheaval of the World – After October 7’ (Le Bouleversement du monde – L’après 7 octobre) which was published in September 2024. He also offered an in-depth analysis of the geopolitical shift that has taken place since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023. The event was organized by the Monaco Méditerranée Foundation.

Tatiana Santo Domingo, Princess Caroline’s daughter-in-law, posed for a fashion-shoot with her 9 year old daughter, India. The fashion label, Muzungu Sisters, was founded in 2009 by Tatiana Santo Domingo and Dana Alikhani. The word “Muzungu” is Swahili for “traveler” or “wanderer.”

The photos are captioned: “Our Bengal Tiger print is for the whole family. Inspired by our ancestors’ close relationship with nature, and the way in which they lived in harmony with the seasons and wildlife.” Alexandra of Hanover commented “India supermodel !!!!!!!” on Instagram.

Muzungu Sisters commission handcrafted goods from artisans in obscure communities who otherwise might never be discovered. They are a sustainable company that stresses fair labor practices with a focus on “fine craftsmanship, natural materials and traditional techniques”.

Prince Albert II makes it official: Monaco is the World Capital of Sport 2025!

Prince Albert II presided over the official ceremony which appointed Monaco as the 2025 World Capital of Sport, in the Salon des Glaces of the Prince’s Palace on 18 February. The ceremony included the signing of a commemorative plaque and the passing of the symbolic flag.

The event took place in the presence of Gian Francesco Lupatelli, president and founder of the Association of European Capitals of Sport (ACES), as well as the highest Monaco authorities. Designated the World Capital of Sport after Sofia (Bulgaria) in 2024, the title represents Monaco’s commitment to sport for all, its modern infrastructure and its support for international competitions. This label will be visible throughout the year in the Principality during sporting events or celebrations, including the 40th anniversary of the Stade Louis II.
