Princely Family attends legendary Rose Ball

The 69th Bal de la Rose took place at the Sporting on 29 March 2025. Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene, Princess Caroline, Andrea Casiraghi, Tatiana Santo Domingo, Charlotte Casiraghi, Beatrice Borromeo Casiraghi, Princess Alexandra and Ben Sylvester Strautmann attended the charity event.

The 69th Bal de la Rose took place at the Sporting on 29 March 2025. Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene, Princess Caroline, Andrea Casiraghi, Tatiana Santo Domingo, Charlotte Casiraghi, Beatrice Borromeo Casiraghi, Princess Alexandra and Ben Sylvester Strautmann attended the charity event.

Designer Christian Louboutin orchestrated the Ball, which had a Caribbean theme, complete with a small beach café and a Sunset Bar. Journalist Stephane Bern hosted the raffle before a special performance by EARTH, WIND & FIRE Experience by Al McKay.

Prince Albert II speaks at 16th Monaco Blue Initiative

Prince Albert II gave a voice to the oceans during his keynote address at the 16th Monaco Blue Initiative, held on 24 March at the Oceanographic Museum. The event was first launched at the Sovereign’s initiative in 2010 as a unique platform that brings major Ocean players together. Discussions about the global challenges of ocean management and conservation were held. Thoughts and ideas from this 16th Monaco Blue Initiative will soon inform discussions during the Blue Economy and Finance Forum in Monaco on 7 and 8 June. 

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene ride Bikes during Road Safety Event

The Princely couple participated in the first edition of a road safety event, organized by the Princess Charlene Foundation, on the Larvotto beach esplanade on 23 March. Princess Charlene even rode a MonaBike for the occasion. Six teams, composed of prominent figures and representatives of Monegasque institutions, set off on a bicycle relay through Monaco for eight hours to raise public awareness about the importance of safety. The Monaco Red Cross, Monaco’s Firefighters and Police, the Prince’s Carabinieri, as well as numerous volunteers and committed athletes took part in the event.

Prince Albert II inaugurates Oceanographic Museum’s ‘Mediterranean 2050’

Two days before it was opened to the general public, Prince Albert II inaugurated the new “Mediterranean 2050” exhibition at the Oceanographic Museum. The immersive experience is spread over 1,000 m² of interactive devices and spectacular projections. The exhibition features a 16-minute scenario that propels viewers to the year 2050 aboard a futuristic submarine in the heart of a marine protected area full of life; a future where the promise of 30% of marine spaces remaining protected has been kept. 

Prince Albert II and Peace and Sport launch #WhiteCard2025

Prince Albert II, longtime supporter of Peace and Sport, helped launch this year’s white card campaign on 26 March at Marius restaurant. Just like every year for the past 10 years, the public is invited to snap a selfie of themselves holding up a white card on 6 April, International Day of Sports. Joël Bouzou, president and founder of Peace & Sport, Zakia Khudadadi, taekwondo Paralympian and Marlène Nidecker, taekwondo Olympic medalist, unveiled the 2025 #WhiteCard campaign with the Sovereign. Zakia Khudadadi is the first-ever Refugee Paralympic Team medallist. “This medal is for all the women of Afghanistan and all the refugees of the world. I hope that one day there will be peace in my country,” she said during the Paris Paralympics.

Princess Alexandra in ELLE Magazine

Princess Alexandra of Hanover, daughter of Princess Caroline, gave an interview to ELLE España for their April issue. The cover and interview photos were taken by Spanish fashion photographer Rocio Ramos, with the Princess wearing clothing by Dior. In the interview, the Princess shares her thoughts about her family. She says she feels very close to all of her older siblings, despite the age differences and that growing up with a lot of older siblings has been very interesting. She says her greatest passion is literature and speaks about her deep love and admiration for her mother.

Princess Caroline attends ‘Aux Cœurs des Mots’ Awards Ceremony

The award ceremony for the ‘Aux Cœurs des Mots’ writing contest was held at the Hôtel Hermitage in the presence of Princess Caroline on 19 March. This fourth edition, was themed ‘My Difference, My Strength’ and brought together students from around the world. Created in 2012, the francophone digital writing contest aims to promote writing and themes relating to three United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Decent Work and Economic Growth. Prince Albert II is the competition’s honourary president.
