Prince Albert II and Mr OneTeas inaugurate Customized Mooring Bollards on Port Hercule

Prince Albert II inaugurated five beautified bollards located on the Chicane quay, which were spray painted by artist Anthony Alberti aka Mr OneTeas, on Monday 4 November. The designs were inspired by “razzle dazzle”, a camouflage technique used by ships during the First and Second World Wars. Ships were painted in bold, irregular geometric shapes in contrasting colours to distort perspective. The technique inspired Mr OneTeas to decorate the bollards, which are no longer in use today. A QR Code, which leads to the SEPM website with an explanatory page on Mr OneTeas’s approach, is on each bollard.
