The year in review: when should you visit Monaco?

The Monaco Formula One Grand Prix: MAY

Every year starting from 1929, Monaco hosts the most prestigious word race. The 3.34 kilometer-long track is right in the heart of the city, and it is the slowest and most complex part of Formula 1. The Principality spends plenty of time and effort to set up the grandstands and fences, and to host the tourists, racecar drivers, and guests. The end of May, when the race is held, is the time of the highest prices for the hotels, crowded streets, and the best parties. As a rule, the locals leave Monaco, and schools and offices are closed for this period.

The organizer of this event is the Automobile Club of Monaco: https://www.acm.mc
