Strengthening the Protection of Larvotto Beach: Partial Swimming Ban till April 30
In preparation for the 2025 summer season, stabilization and reinforcement work will be carried out on Larvotto Beach from January 2 to April 30, 2025.
This project will focus on the central groyne and the geotubes currently positioned between the coves in the eastern area of Larvotto, which will be removed. Their protective function will subsequently be replaced by eco-designed rock islands to help reduce beach erosion and the formation of mounds observed in recent years. Similar work will be undertaken next year to secure the western area of the beach.
