Prince Albert II attends Solar Impulse’s new project launch in Bonn
Prince Albert II travelled to Bonn to support his friend Bertrand Piccard and his new clean energy project. The Prince helped Bertrand Piccard during the Solar Impulse flights, the world’s first solar-powered flight around the world. Now, the Swiss aeronaut and his Solar Impulse Foundation are initiating a Global Alliance to find a thousand profitable solutions for the clean energy transition. The project, also sponsored by Prince Albert II, was unveiled on Tuesday during UN Climate Talks COP23. Bertrand Piccard will go on a world tour in search of ideas while proposing clean energy solutions to governments, companies and institutions to help make sustainable energy accessible to everyone.
Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella have their first haircut
Princess Charlene posted some cute, rare photos of twins Jacques and Gabriella after they had their first haircuts. Gabriella’s hair is a little shorter while Jacques’ long locks have been cut much shorter and they both look adorable. After taking a brief moment to inspect each other’s new looks, they hug each other in a heart-melting photo series. They both seem pleased with the results of their first visit to the barber.
Jacques and Gabriella visit a new creche in Monaco
Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella visited a new micro-creche in the Principality, called A Farandola. Along with their parents Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, the twins had a tour of the 127 m2 establishment, created to care for ten children. A Farandola is the third micro-nursery located in the building ‘Les Villas des Pins’. The creche was created by the Principality’s government with the generous backing of Oleksandr Boguslayev, who wanted to provide financial support for an early childhood project.
Princess Charlene and Albert visited Redcross’ nursing home
Prince Albert of Monaco and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the various events before celebrations of Monaco National Day 2017. At the Redcross charity ceremony which is one of the events held before national day celebrations, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene visited a nursing home on November 17 and presented various Christmas gifts to the residents of the nursing home. Celebrations of Monaco National Day took place on November 19.
Princess Stephanie and Camille handed out gifts to elder people
On November 18, 2017, Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and her daughter Camille Gottlieb continued their annual tradition by handing out gifts to the citizens of Monaco before celebrations of Monaco National Day 2017. Princess Stephanie and Camille Gottlieb visited elderly at the Foyer of Rainier III and gave gifts to them.
