The 20th Aesthetic & Anti-aging Medicine World Congress
March 31 – April 2
Every year, this highly anticipated event attracts more than 12,000 participants to Monaco from over 130 countries. Following the success of AMWC 2021 — The Hybrid Edition — with over 8,300 attendees despite the backdrop, we are pleased to inform you that AMWC 2022 will once again be offered in a hybrid format offering attendees from around the world the choice to attend the conference physically while taking advantage of new digital features or opting for the format broadcast virtually on an optimized platform. Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, as well as under the scientific supervision of the World Society of Interdisciplinary Anti-Aging Medicine (WOSIAM), the conference will feature a highly interactive, stimulating and multidisciplinary program. It will provide the ideal forum to stimulate ideas, educate, share expertise, initiate intense discussions and extend networking opportunities. This year, the AMWC will celebrate its 20th anniversary since its inception in 2003. On this occasion, the “AMWC Aesthetic Medicine Awards 2022” will be awarded to 24 laureates (doctors, laboratories and industrialists in the sector).
Superyacht Chef Competition
April 7
For the 2022 edition of the Superyacht Chef Competition, nine chefs of different nationalities are set to compete. All are working on superyachts over 40m in length, such as the M/Y Black Pearl and M/Y Hampshire II. As part of its “La Belle Classe Academy” training centre, dedicated to professionals in the Yachting industry and offering an “Art of Service” module, the Yacht Club de Monaco is partnering with Bluewater to organise a culinary competition, under the presidency of H.S.H. Prince Albert II. The competition is made up of four 30-minute rounds during which chefs will each prepare an original dish based on a basket of “mystery” ingredients. Fresh products and fresh herbs will be at their disposal to supplement the mystery ingredients and thus allow the judges to reach a decision.

Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters

The traditional Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters tennis tournament will take place from 9 to 17 April 2022 on the clay courts of the Monte-Carlo Country Club. The Rolex Monte Carlo Masters has been one of the most prestigious events in the world of international tennis for over 100 years. Since 2000, the Monte-Carlo Tournament has been part of an elite ATP Championship: the Masters Series. The best tennis players in the world meet on the courts of the Monte-Carlo Country Club. Over the years the competition was won by such talented players as Gustavo Kuerten, Cédric Pioline, Andrei Chesnokov, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Guillermo Coria, Ivan Lendl, Novak Djokovic and the unrivalled Rafael Nadal who won the tournament 8 times in a row from 2005 to 2012, a record in the world of tennis!

Monaco International Book Fair

The 11th Monaco International Book Fair will be held on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April 2022 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte-Carlo, Espace Diaghilev. Monte-Carlo Comedy Film Festival
April 25–30
The 19th edition of the Monte-Carlo Film Festival of Comedy, the prestigious kermesse dedicated to comedy, conceived and directed by Ezio Greggio, will be held at the Grimaldi Forum incorporating appropriate security anti-COVID measures. The festival’s aim is the promotion and the diffusion of the various comedy genres presented through the screening of movie previews, meetings with comedy experts, master classes, seminars and more. The festival’s movie projections will be divided in two main sections: official selection with the projection of all movies in the competition, and gala Screenings; the section will present a limited number of films out of competition selected from the best comedy productions of the year.

EVER Monaco

EVER Monaco is helping to build a better environment for future generations. The event features scientific lectures, roundtable discussions and international meetings on ecological vehicles and renewable energy. Since his accession, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco has spurred the Principality into a sustainable development policy, in particular in relation to ‘clean’ mobility. The goal of this event is to increase awareness about the development of renewable energy and improved energy efficiency. 5th Monaco E-Prix

The Monaco E-Prix in the Principality is moving from a biannual to an annual event following 2021 June’s decisions from the FIA World Motor Sport Council. The Monegasque week-end will constitute the 8th round of the 2022 ABB Formula E World Championship. The Formula E cars will follow in 2022 for the second consecutive year on the full Monaco Circuit, generated by the technical progress thus made by the discipline since its creation less than 10 years ago. Following Formula E’s first visit back in 2015, the new FIA World Championship series now makes its fifth visit to the legendary Monegasque roads.

The second edition of the prestigious Maria Callas Monaco Gala & Awards will be held under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, and the kind support of the Greek Community of Monaco, in the magnificent Monte Carlo Opera’s Salle Garnier, where the historical and legendary Gala first began. The International Monaco Dog Show

Monaco International Dog Show will take place on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May 2022, in the Principality. The International Monaco Dog Show is pleased to welcome 9 judges from different countries who will make their verdict designating the best subject of the exhibition. The Dog Show will be held under the aegis of the Société Canine de Monaco — Monaco Kennel Club (member of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale, FCI) chaired by Mélanie-Antoinette de Massy (former vice-president). Not by chance, Monaco International Dog Show is grounded in the history of the Principality, being founded in 1927 by H.S.H. Princess Charlotte who chaired the expo until 1950 when she handed over the presidency to her daughter, Princess Antoinette, and then to Baroness Elizabeth-Ann de Massy who held the post from 2011 until her death in 2020. This year more than 170 breeds are represented and more than 1000 dogs on the two days. Harmony of features, lines and forms according to each breed’s standards, healthy look in every detail, proper posture and education are some of the usual criteria evaluated. The Junior Handling competition will take place over the two days starting at 15:00: these are young people in training, from 5 to 9 years, or from 10 to 17 years who are judged during the presentation of a dog, and not the dog itself.

13th Grand Prix de Monaco Historique

The Automobile Club de Monaco has organized since 1997 the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, which always runs two weeks before the Monaco Grand Prix. This thirteenth edition will take place from May 13 to May 15, 2022. Cars that can participate are sorted by races and classes. They are restricted to cars that took part in International Races & that are in conformity with the regulations for the relevant period. During two and a half days, all competitors will share their passion for high level motor racing with thousands of fans — on a mythical track where 80 % of the straight lines and turns are exactly the same as in 1929, and still used every year for the most glamorous Grand Prix of the Formula 1 World Championship.

79th Monaco Grand Prix

For the 79th time the streets of the Principality will rustle not only from the roar of the motors of the cars, but also from the cries of enthusiastic fans. The Monaco Streaming Film Festival (MCSFF), in partnership with the Reg Grundy Innovation Award, the paramount Global Entertainment initiative in the name of the legendary Australian Media tycoon, is back to the Grimaldi Forum from the 31st May to the 3rd June 2022, just after Monaco’s F1 Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival. It features a parade of new meetings, keynote speeches, masterclasses, screenings and premieres open to the Monegasque public. Fête de la Mer

Every year St Peter, the patron saint of fishermen, is celebrated in a day-long festival organised by the YCM in partnership with other Monegasque institutions, including Monaco City Hall, Société Nautique de Monaco (rowing club), Association des Pontons de Monaco (pleasure boats), Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Oceanographic Museum, Club d’Exploration sous-marine de Monaco (scuba diving), and the Association Monégasque de la Protection de la Nature (Environment Protection Association). Port Hercule will once again celebrate the Fête de la Mer during which a large parade will be organised at sea. Sailing, motor, rowing, all units are welcome to participate in this event.

The Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses

Monaco will offer its guests a particularly uplifting experience! There is to be an international Gala with exciting entertainment in an atmosphere of incomparable splendour. The main objective of this Grand Ball is to transform the Principality for one night and create a fairy tale royal atmosphere, in which participants with the souls of princes and princesses deviate joyfully from everyday life to enter the fantasies of fables and mystical dreams. Delia Grace Noble, soprano and UNICEF ambassador is the artistic director of this project. Together with her team, she strives to turn magical creative fantasies into reality, thereby providing unforgettable emotions for the guests of the event. Do not forget that the Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses is not only an entertaining pastime, but it is also an important charity project. Part of the funds raised at the gala dinner will be donated to the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, as well as the Princess Grace Foundation.
