Many of us have a little bit of Mr. Bean in us – even Charles Leclerc it seems! Small everyday events go comically wrong. Imagine a racing ace suddenly becomes unimaginably incapable of making a smooth mount into his sports car.
These comic types of antics have earned a Senegalese-Italian influencer over 100 million subscribers on TikTok. Phenomenon of the social network TikTok, the 21-year-old Senegalese Khaby Lame started posting viral videos in March 2020 from Italy. Out of work in Turin in the pandemic, instead of being overwhelmed by circumstance, he turned a difficult situation on its head and started doing short episodes on TikTok of complete ineptness. And Khaby Lame’s hilarious imitations and funny sketches of everyday life have hit the mark with the general public.
Ferrari took notice and allowed him to do parodies with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz pretending to be buffoons mounting their cars – instead of the world-class athletes that they are in reality.
Khaby Lame, helmet and Ferrari jumpsuit on his back, shows Carlos Sainz how to fit into his seat with ease. Team Ferrari must have been laughing hilariously watching these antics.
The TikToker also plays a scene featuring Charles Leclerc. It took place during the recent Princess of Monaco Cup (charity golf tournament) when the Senegalese took the opportunity to shoot a short video of about 20 seconds including a shot in front of the Méridien hotel, with Charles Leclerc climbing into his Ferrari 488 Pista Spider with the help of his accomplice.
