Summer’s Here with the Exquisite Oasis of Monte Carlo Restaurants and Bars

After the launch of the summer season marked on June 21 by the Swing Monte-Carlo evening! Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer announces its new summer openings.

The season is building up to cruising speed. Around the Place du Casino, the Mada Lounge has just moved into the Jardins des Boulingrins, a stone’s throw from another summer pop-up, the Crystal Lounge, which since June 16 has taken over the Excelsior garden of the Hôtel Hermitage. Monte Carlo.

From July 1, other emblematic addresses of the Resort reopen their doors after long months of absence. On the port side La Rascasse welcomes back its throngs of fans being the Mecca of Monegasque festivals. On the sea side, there is the incomparable Blue Bay at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, the Michelin-starred restaurant by Marcel Ravin. In the heart of the Monte-Carlo Casino, of course there is the Blue Train. Not to mention that other magnet for nightly entertainment, the Buddha Bar, Monte-Carlo.

The Crystal Bar

The Crystal Bar becomes the Crystal Lounge at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo until September 12, 2021. It has taken up its summer quarters in the Jardin Excelsior. Soft and elegant atmosphere for evenings under the stars, this pretty garden faces the sea. On the menu, delicious cocktails, wines from the largest private cellar in the world, a hookah bar, finger food and boards to share with friends or family in a relaxed atmosphere.

Marcel Ravin will be resuming his creations at the Blue Bay at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort from July 1. The Michelin-starred restaurant reopens its doors on July 1, 2021, from Wednesday to Saturday for dinner. Marcel Ravin took advantage of a break of a few months to magnify his menu inspired by his Caribbean origins, mixed with the influences of his adopted land. Products from there, or very close to here – fruits, vegetables, aromatic plants, most of them freshly picked from his vegetable garden – create an astonishing alchemy. This sensory experience is to be discovered from the restaurant terrace facing the lagoon and the sea.

La Rascasse

La Rascasse, a major party venue in the Monegasque port, reopens its doors on July 1. La Rascasse is above all about partying, sports and friends. The Bar which gave its name to one of the most famous corners of the Monaco Grand Prix, is the HQ for F1 fans and not only them. Everyone also meets there for sports broadcasts, or simply because it is a festive and relaxed place. La Rascasse returns with its DJ every evening from Tuesday to Saturday for the famous afterwork get-togethers from 5 p.m. around fingerfood, and Happy Hour from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Blue Train

The Blue Train restarts on July 1 for a trip to Italy. From July 1, it will again be possible to dine at the Train Bleu, the emblematic restaurant of the Casino de Monte-Carlo, from Thursday to Sunday. Chef Thierry Saez-Manzanares prepares the cuisine with sunny flavors. A Belle Époque atmosphere and gourmet cuisine blend elegantly in a unique setting, reproducing a restaurant car. Now is the time to go and rediscover this hidden treasure of the Place du Casino.
