The Stelios Foundation’s Young Entrepreneur Awards have been launched for the first time in Monaco and the Riviera! There are €60,000 in cash prizes available for three young entrepreneurs aged 34 or younger. The deadline to apply is 24 April 2025 at 5pm.
Bringing the competition “close to home”
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, creator and owner of easyJet and the easy brand is behind the competition, which aims to support young business owners “close to home”. The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation has been running similar entrepreneur awards in other countries, including the United Kingdom, Greece and Cyprus. Now, the resident of the Principality is bringing the competition, which will help support job creation, to Monaco and the Riviera.
The competition is open to young entrepreneurs who were born in 1990 or later who have a registered company in Monaco or the South of France in the last 5 years and an annual revenue which exceeds €30,000. To qualify, one must be a director of the company and own more than 50% of the shares. The overall winner will win a cash prize of €30,000 to invest in their business, with a second prize of €20,000 and third prize of €10,000.
Winners will also receive marketing packages
In partnership with Riviera Radio, the awards come with an additional €30,000 worth of communication, marketing, and advertising—including digital, social media, website, and exposure on Riviera Radio. (€15,000 package for the 1st place winner, €10,000 package for 2nd place and €5,000 package for 3rd place).
Winners will be announced by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou at an awards ceremony at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall in Monaco on 16 May 2025. Applications for the Young Entrepreneur Awards are available at: www.stelios.mc
