And on September 29, the gastronomic restaurant of the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort: the Blue Bay, will host a unique gala evening during which the 5 senses will be awakened!

The French chefs Marcel Ravin (of Martinican origin), chef of the gourmet restaurant Blue Bay, 1 star in the Michelin Guide, and Franck Lafont, chef of the legendary Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, will welcome Russian representatives from the world of gastronomy – brand chef Andrey Savenkov and chef Ivan Spichonok of the restaurant “Doctor Whiskey”.

At Blue Bay, the theme of the festival will be the perception of the world through the 5 senses. A gourmet menu for 4 hands, by Chef Marcel Ravin and Chef Andrey Savenkov, will be created to awaken all the senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch.

Russian producers will also be present at the festival to present their products. The program of the evening will be a surprise for all the guests, because the presentation of each dish itself will be a real performance.

Gastronomy is indivisible from the culture of Russia as elsewhere. The chefs will present you dishes where you will hear the wind and the storm; where the scents of flowers and berries will remind you of the sweetest moments of childhood.

The colours and smells will open up new horizons to the world. Among the Russian producers who will take part in this gastronomic orchestra: Matsesta tea house of the Kransnodar region, which began its history in 1878, LE BONHEUR chocolates and caramels from Saint Petersburg, ecological salt from the North of Russia from the White Sea, Sugreff Tea, which has brought together a collection of teas from different regions of Russia, FANAGORIA wines from the south of the country, traditional “Belyovskaya Pastila” desserts and “Organica” vodka from Siberia.

Russian producers are supported by the Russian Export Center which aims to promote Russian savoir vivre as well as Russian products to the world.

More information about the Festival:

The festival is held annually in France and Russia and contributes to the strengthening of relations between the two countries, as well as the continuation of the tradition that existed between Russia and France from 1861 to 1912, when an agreement was concluded to organize gastronomic battles in Paris and St. Petersburg once every 10 years. The Gastronomic Seasons renewed this tradition in 2010.

The Festival will be held from September 28 to 30 under the patronage of the Monaco City Hall and the Honorary Consulate of Russia in Monaco.

Among the festival guests from previous years: HSH the Sovereign Prince of Monaco Albert II and his wife HSH the Princess of Monaco, Leonid Parfenov, Elena Podkaminskaya, Carole Bouquet and many other prestigious guests.

“This year was different; we found ourselves alone with ourselves, we started to think with our hearts again and hope to feel more. And it’s not easy, because we haven’t done it for so long. I hope our shy attempt to look within ourselves again will help open the hearts of our festival guests and fans, ”says Natalia Marzoeva, the founder of the festival.
