After the Netflix series took the world by storm, Squid Game is making its European debut in a new way at the Casino Café de Paris. New Squid Game slot machines were inaugurated during a grand event on 14 September, with 30 dancers dressed as guards and a DJ dressed as Hwang In-ho, the game master in black. Unveiled as a European preview, the launch party saw one of the players win a jackpot of 35,798 euros.

The Société des Bains de Mer recently hinted that they will be opening the largest restaurant in the upcoming Mareterra district. Monaco’s most ambitious and transformative construction project, the new district built on top of the sea, may soon be home to the SBM’s Marlow restaurant. The residential, cultural and recreational spaces which have been designed to celebrate the spirit of the Mediterranean are set to be ready by November 2024.

The Palace’s hidden frescoes were first discovered by sheer luck in 2015. Placed under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II, the conservation and restoration projects have strengthened the Palace of Monaco’s place in the history of global art. Not only is this due to the scale of the discoveries, but also the innovative and sustainable approach to their restoration.
