Roca Team is going to face one of the roughest teams in the Ligue of Champions

LIGUE OF CHAMPIONS –  DAY 7

Aris Thessalonik/A.S. Monaco Basket

On Tuesday, November 29 at 8 pm, the Monegasques will confront “Áris Thessaloniki” in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Renowned for its bustling atmosphere, the Alexandreio hall is the den of the “yellow and blacks”. This complex can accommodate up to 5.500 people, some of them, “Ultra” supporters. These fans of the Greek club not only cheer for their favorite, but won’t hesitate to light a smoke on the stadium. Alexandreio is thus one of the few basketball halls that still bear safety nets from the supporters.  The “Aris”also expects a record attendance for the game tonight.

“Áris Thessaloniki” is one of the roughest teams in the competition. As far as the defense goes, it is indeed the most aggressive in the group. However, with 77.7 average per game, the Greeks are also very efficient in their attack. While the Monegasques average 74.5 points.

The “red and whites” thus know what to expect.

Luckily, John Bryant will be there to replace Brandon Davies, due to medical issues. The American played his first game under Monaco colors last Saturday in Pro A against Le Portel. He scored the remarkable 12 points, did 5 rebounds and 2 counters in 19 minutes.

Another good news: Jamal Shuler resumed his training.

This recovery iscertainly individual, but the medical staff of the Roca Team claim that he could be back in a week, for the first return game of the group, facing “ Fraport Skyliners”.

And the last but not the least, out of 6 games of the Basketball Champions League, Zack Wright scores 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.7 passes in less than 25 minutes. The American of the Roca Team also happens to be one of the best interceptors in the competition.

Áris Thessaloniki is playing against A.S. Monaco Baskettonight at 8 pm, live on Multisports TV, optional channel of Canal + group.

Daghe Munegu! Go ahead, Monaco!
