Operation Testimonio II: launch of preparatory work

The work of the real estate program “Testimonio II” will begin with the preparatory work, the realization of the work that will allow the deviation of Boulevard du Larvotto to the future operation area through the establishment of a temporary bridge over Avenue Princess Grace.
The installation of the pillars of the work and structure requires the temporary one-way route of Avenue Princesse Grace in the outgoing direction of Monaco to the “Monte-Carlo Beach” between the building “Roccabella” and roundabout located to the right of the “Monte-Carlo Bay.”

Operation Testimonio II Monaco

Thus, users returning to the Principality will no longer be able to take this part of the route and will take Boulevard du Larvotto or Boulevard d’Italy. The “Meridien Beach Plaza” hotel, “Roccabella” and the Sporting d’Eté will only be accessible in the outgoing direction of the Principality.
The access into and out of garages at the “Meridien Beach Plaza”, the “Rocabella” and the Sporting d’Eté will remain open throughout the construction period.

Furthermore, with the building of the temporary bridge, this leads to the temporary removal of three bus stops: the final stop of the “Larvotto” and stops “Sea Club” and both ways. The bus stop “Plages” will be the new temporary stop for the bus lines 5 and 6 of the Monaco Bus Company.

Operation Testimonio II Monaco

Moreover, the existing taxi stand at the two aforementioned hotels will be moved to an area close to the “Bahia” building.

The implementation of the one-way will began on Monday 24th October 2016, for a period of about 7 months.
