Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene inaugurate Box98 in a Grand Prix atmosphere!

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene inaugurated Box98 on 28 March, accompanied by Louis and Marie Ducruet, Camille Gottlieb and Gareth Wittstock. The new sports and leisure complex dedicated to driving and innovation in the heart of Monaco will open to the public on 1 April 2025.

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene inaugurated Box98 on 28 March, accompanied by Louis and Marie Ducruet, Camille Gottlieb and Gareth Wittstock. Numerous personalities from the world of sport were also in attendance, including world number one cyclist Tadej Pogacar, as well as several F1 drivers. The new sports and leisure complex dedicated to driving and innovation in the heart of Monaco will open to the public on 1 April 2025.

Wearing helmets in Monaco’s colours, the Princely Couple set the first times on the Monaco Grand Prix-style kart circuit. Carlos Sainz Jr., Stoffel Vandoorne, Nyck de Vries, Gabriele Bortoletto, Nick Cassidy, Dayton Coulthard, Jake Dennis, Mitch Evans, and James Rossiter were among the guests. David Coulthard was among the spectators, having recently suffered a broken collarbone.

Located on the former site of the Automobile Collection of HSH the Prince of Monaco, the 4,700 m² complex is designed as a hybrid space combining motorsports, immersive technologies and entertainment for people of all ages.
