Activities

  • Raffle tickets will be on sale (10€ for 3 tickets). A commemorative t-shirt will be given by the partner of the event of SBM OFFSHORE (until stocks last)

In partnership with the Monegasque Athletics Federation (F.M.A) and SBM OFFSHORE, the 9th of February 2025 will perpetuate a tremendous sporting and charitable tradition in the Principality, which has already been adopted worldwide. Unlike other sporting events, participants will not have numbers on their bibs but will write messages of support or tribute to breast cancer victims instead. The aim is not to complete the course in record time but to participate in large numbers in order to give visibility to the cause we support. In addition, anyone wishing to support Pink Ribbon Monaco’s work while taking part in the Monaco Run Gramaglia running events can take out a ‘solidarity race number’. For a minimum donation of €100, the Monegasque Athletics Federation, organiser of the event, will redistribute the funds to the charity after deducting administration costs.

Registration costs 30€:

  • On the website www.pinkribbon.mc (secure payment) on the online shop. On February 9th, from 10:15 am to 5pm, on the esplanade of Port Hercule, and on February 9, before the march, at the Pink Ribbon Monaco stand.
    Payments accepted Cash, Visa, Carlo.

Why participate?

The Pink Ribbon Walk is an awareness-raising event with a number of participants and a moving show of support for women, sisters, daughters, mothers and friends. If a person participates on behalf of a deceased person, the race becomes a tribute to the life and courage of the victim. A person may also participate in support of a breast cancer patient. It should be noted that many of the participants are themselves patients or survivors in remission.

Pink Ribbon Monaco

Under the Honorary Presidency of H.S.H. Princesse Charlene and vice presidency of Olympic and professional cyclist Tiffany Cromwell, Pink Ribbon Monaco was founded in 2011 as the first association in the region to mark breast cancer awareness month and illuminate buildings and landmarks in pink as an awareness campaign. Developed by Natasha Frost-Savio, Pink Ribbon is dedicated to early breast cancer detection and awareness. Our events not only raise funds for breast cancer screening studies at the Princesse Grace Hospital Centre but also convey messages of support, encourage early screening, and aim to save lives.

Pink Ribbon Monaco, a Comity for the Protection and Promotion of Women’s Rights (DFM) member, is also dedicated to enhancing gender equality.

Collaborating with the Princely government, National Council, Ministry of Health, and Princess Grace Hospital, the association has championed awareness, health, and unity in French and English for over a decade, benefiting francophones and Anglophone expats alike.
