The Monaco Pavilion was officially unveiled at the World Expo in Osaka, Japan on 13 April, among with 160 other nations. The theme of the Monaco pavilion, “Take Care of Wonder”, aims to raise awareness about environmental themes through immersive experiences.

“We love what we marvel at, and we protect what we love,” said Jacques-Yves Couteau.

Located at C10-01 in the Connecting Lives area, the Monaco Pavilion features gargantuan walls of animated screens that invite visitors on a journey to the depths of the sea. The Principality’s pavilion hopes to show visitors that caring for nature equates to caring for ourselves, and that by taking care of the fragile wonder of this planet, we are contributing to the survival of the human species.

Wine and cognac from the famous Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo Cellars

Located on the artificial island of Yumeshima in Osaka Bay, the Expo’s overall theme is the society of the future. Emperor of Japan, Naruhito, inaugurated the event, which sold 8.7 million tickets in advance, with 28 million visitors expected over six months.

The Monaco pavilion is equipped with a wine bar featuring grands crus wines and cognacs from the renowned wine cellar of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo.
