Operated twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, this service marks a significant step in connecting two iconic Mediterranean regions, with flights aboard the state-of-the-art ATR72-600 aircraft.

A Strategic Move to Unite the Mediterranean

This route represents a strategic initiative by Air Corsica to enhance connectivity between Monaco and the French Riviera, Corsica, and Tuscany. By linking Nice and Florence, the airline taps into the growing demand for direct connections between Monaco, the south of France and Italy. In addition, the new service provides seamless connections for Italian passengers heading to Corsica and for Corsicans looking to experience Florence.

“This connection is a first for Nice airport, as it has never been operated before,” Air Corsica said in a press release.”

It meets a clear demand from customers in Monaco and Nice and reflects increasing traffic between Italy, Monaco and the south of France.

Optimizing the Nice-Based Fleet

Air Corsica has been strategically expanding its operations since entering the Italian market in 2022, with routes to Rome, Milan, and Olbia. This new Florence connection underscores the airline’s commitment to strengthening cross-border travel while making full use of its Nice-based ATR fleet.

Accessibility and Affordability

Tickets are competitively priced, with one-way fares starting at €99 and round-trip journeys, including connections to Corsica, available from €269. These fares include a 23 kg checked bag and an 8 kg cabin bag.
