Monaco’s new postage stamps

Recently the Stamp Office of the Principality of Monaco distributed the following stamps:

€0,71 – THE MONACO AUDIOVISUAL ARCHIVES

Established in 1997, the Audiovisual Archives Association of the Principality of Monaco has the task of identifying, collecting, restoring, protecting, preserving, disseminating and enhancing all audio and images, whether still or animated, professional or amateur, relating to the Principality of Monaco. Under the labels “Monaco in films” and “Tuesday Films”, the Archives valorize their collections and highlight history and cinematographic heritage through artistic films. This program, with its diverse approaches, is continuing a project which portrays Monaco entitled “All the Art of cinema”. It benefits from the High Patronage of the Princess of Hanover.

€0,71- 25th ANNIVERSARY OF ‘ÉCOUTE CANCER RÉCONFORT

Established in 1992 under the honorary presidency of Princess Stephanie, the association Écoute Cancer Réconfort has the goal of bringing help and comfort to people who have been or are suffering from cancer. This goal is accomplished by listening to patients hospitalized in the day hospital at the Princess Grace Hospital, support by a team of volunteers, social activities and actions to help the fight against cancer. In 2009, the association opened “L’espace Mieux-Etre”, a meeting, listening and activity center for the well-being of people living with cancer.

€0.85 – MONACOPHIL 2017

The next edition of MonacoPhil will take place from 30 November to 2 December 2017. This international philatelic event will have three components: a trade exhibition at Espace Léo Ferré, bringing together international merchants and postal administrations, an exhibition of 100 stamps at the emblematic Museum of Stamps and Coins, and lastly, at the Top Cars Collection, an exhibition dedicated to philately of North and South America and an exhibition focusing on the King of philatelists Ferrari de La Renotière.
