Monaco City Council renews its participation in the “Les Voiles Blanches” operation

For several years, the Town Hall of Monaco has been involved in the “Les Voiles Blanches Bettimask” (“The White Sails Bettimask”) operation, the aim of which is to collect toys and games for children which will be donated to the Lenval Foundation.

From September 3rd to 25th, the Pirate Blanc will board his Skaf sailboat and sail between the Bouches-du-Rhône, the Var, Monaco and the Alpes-Maritimes, passing through 25 ports on the Côte d’Azur, in order to recover chests full of toys.

Two safes/containers are positioned within municipal sites in Monaco: in the Hall of the Town Hall and at the Condamine Market.

Everyone is invited to drop off a game or toy that must be both new and unwrapped to facilitate distribution to children.

It’s a community effort that is a great success every year and which brings a little comfort and escape to hospitalized children.
