Michelin-starred Chefs return to the Festival des Etoilés, starting in April…

For the past five years, the Monte-Carlo Festival des Etoilés has established itself as an unmissable gastronomic event in the Principality. Beginning on 10 April 2025, the central theme of this year's edition will feature new dinners prepared by two chefs. Michelin-starred chefs of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) will welcome some of the biggest names in French and international gastronomy, before reuniting for the grand finale: a seven-Michelin-starred gala dinner.

Europe’s most starred resort, with 7 Michelin stars, the SBM remains one of the world’s most iconic groups in the field of haute cuisine and the Grand Art de Vivre. With 162 years of history and more than 30 restaurants and bars, the Festival celebrates the immense talent of SBM chefs.

The Festival will begin at Le Grill on 10 April, atop the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo. Dominique Lory, Executive Chef of the Monegasque palace and its iconic Grill, will welcome Pierre Gagnaire. 25 years ago, Dominique Lory worked alongside Pierre Gagnaire, which was a decisive moment in his career. Dominique Lory also comes from the same village as Thierry Méchinaud, chef of the Pierre Gagnaire restaurant in Paris, who will also be present for this dinner.

On 20 June, the second opus will take place at the Louis XV-Alain Ducasse at the Hôtel de Paris, where the world’s most Michelin-starred chef, Alain Ducasse, will welcome Spanish chef Albert Adrià alongside Emmanuel Pilon. The mastermind behind the famous elBulli (Roses) with his brother Ferran, Albert Adrià is currently at the helm of the Michelin-starred Enigma in Barcelona. The two great chefs will reunite after their wonderful collaboration on the pop-up restaurant project, ADMO (Paris, 2021-2022).

On 13 July, a third duo will take over the heart of the Hôtel des Connaisseurs, the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. Multi-Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alleno will welcome Italian chef Davide Oldani, a two-Michelin-starred chef from the Milanese province, to Monaco. Considered one of the most influential chefs of his generation, Davide Oldani is also the inventor of “Cucina Pop,” which blends simple products and ingredients with sophisticated flavours and textures. The two friends promise a truly convivial and surprising experience.

Finally, on 18 July, the Blue Bay Marcel Ravin, a Michelin-starred restaurant at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, will deliver the fourth instalment of the festival with another exceptional duo. Two-Michelin-starred chef Marcel Ravin has invited Anne-Sophie Pic, chef of the Pic restaurant in Valencia with 12 stars, to share her sensitive and daring cuisine. The dinner will bring these two great chefs together for the first time.

The fifth edition of the Monte-Carlo Festival des Etoilés will conclude with a grand gala dinner, which will take place this autumn.
