Michael Douglas will receive a trophy from Prince Albert II to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Princess Grace Foundation. The event will occur on 23 October at the Pierre Hotel in New York. The event will shine the spotlight on designers and artists.
The Oscar-winning actor will be receiving the Prince Rainier III Award in recognition of his artistic career and his charitable commitment.
Back in 2019, the princely couple awarded a Crystal Nymph award to Michael Douglas to honour his entire career, during the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.
Created in 2005 after the death of Monaco’s former sovereign, the Prince Rainier III Award recognises a personality in the field of the arts whose work is accompanied by demonstrated service to the community.
