In Monte Carlo, Nobu Nights, A Culinary Love Story

On March 6, Nobu Fairmont Monte-Carlo reopened, and HelloMonaco couldn’t wait to try the new Spring flavors. Walking into Nobu feels like stepping into a scene from Sofia Coppola’s "Lost in Translation"—it’s truly an adventure to Japan right in the heart of Monte Carlo.

As guests enjoyed the beautiful cherry blossom decorations honoring Hanami, excitement filled the air. For over ten years, Nobu Monte Carlo has been mixing Japanese and Peruvian flavors, and with Chef Matteo Filippini in charge, it was clear that something special was on the menu.

Chef Matteo shared about the new menu: “We want to bring the spirit of Europe with a hint of nobility, along with local Mediterranean flavors that you can only find here at Nobu Fairmont Monte-Carlo.” You can really taste the thought and creativity in every dish!
The beef Toban Yaki was simply incredible—juicy and flavorful. Each bite melted in the mouth! The lamb was another highlight, soft and delicious. The Hanami cocktail was a standout as well, blending Japanese ingredients into something refreshing and perfect for Spring.
