The 8th Eco Awards took place recently at the Grimaldi Forum, where seven companies and their managers were honoured and awarded for their contribution to the influence of the Monegasque economy.

During a ceremony that brought together the major players of the Principality’s economy, the Minister of State Serge Telle presented the Special Prize to Michel Boeri, President of the Automobile-Club of Monaco (ACM), for the Monaco Grand Prix, which has just celebrated its 90th anniversary.

“The Grand Prix is indicative of the love story between the Principality and millions of motor racing fans,” said the Minister of State. “It is also the beautiful story of a country that prepares and lives the Grand Prix, animated by all the talent of the ACM with its teams at the heart of the success of the event”.

The International Influence Prize, awarded by Jean Castellini, Minister of Finance, went to the Opéra de Monte-Carlo and its Director Jean-Louis Grinda. This ambassador of Monegasque cultural excellence triumphs on the biggest stages of the world.
