The Monaco Grand Prix, regarded by many as the most prestigious and historic race in Formula 1, is embracing a new era in 2025 with a landmark partnership. For the first time since its inception in 1929, the race’s official name will include a sponsor: Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco 2025.

Michel Boeri, President of the ACM, expressed enthusiasm for this deepened relationship. This historic shift comes also as a result of an agreement between Formula 1 and the luxury watch brand TAG Heuer. TAG Heuer has a deep-rooted connection with motorsport and a longstanding relationship with the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM), having been a partner since 2011.

A Partnership That Celebrates Legacy and Innovation

The addition of TAG Heuer’s name to the Monaco Grand Prix represents more than just a branding decision—it’s a reflection of the brand’s deep ties to the motorsport in Monaco. The legendary street circuit has long been a stage for motorsport’s greatest champions, from Niki Lauda to Ayrton Senna, Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and recently Charles Leclerc. Many of these have been associated with TAG Heuer timepieces.

The Monaco Grand Prix Experience, Elevated

With this partnership, TAG Heuer’s presence at the race will be more prominent than ever. The brand will have extensive trackside visibility throughout the Circuit de Monaco, with dedicated activations that will immerse fans in the world of high-performance racing. A special TAG Heuer Monaco clock will also be a new fixture in the paddock, marking a significant moment for Formula 1’s 2025 season.

The Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco 2025 will take place from May 23 to 25, 2025, ushering in a new chapter for one of motorsport’s most cherished events. As the sport celebrates its 75th anniversary, the partnership between TAG Heuer, ACM and Formula 1 signals a bold step forward—blending tradition, prestige, and innovation in a way only Monaco can.
