Brunches at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo and the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort are back every Sunday.
“With the autumn season now well underway, what could be more enjoyable than a delicious brunch, over a glass of Champagne?” states a recent press release by the SBM.
Parisian brunches are now on the menu in the cozy atmosphere of the Pavyllon Monte-Carlo restaurant, by Yannick Alléno, in the heart of the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. Guests are invited to take a seat at the now emblematic counter (the signature of the multi-starred chef) or around a table with dishes that will surely delight all fine gourmets.
Sea urchins and caviar…
The plated brunches are full of originality, including: eggs cocotte with sea urchins and caviar from Maison Prunier, or the original ‘Good Witch’, composed of macaroni glazed with smoked scamorza and Italian ham. Sweet notes are played with the gourmet caramelized Brioche, Piedmont hazelnuts with vanilla ice cream and coulis, or the delicate Mango Salad with Saffron, which can be paired with teas or other hot drinks. Fresh fruit juices and a glass of champagne, specially chosen by the sommelier, will also be offered. A dedicated children’s menu is also available. The Kids Room of the Hôtel Hermitage, with its wide range of games, workshops and activities, will be open every Sunday for brunch.
Champagne Brunch Party at Espace Calypso
Under the banner of the historic Champagne house Taittinger, the “Champagne Brunch Party” has been back at Espace Calypso every Sunday since 6 October, with sharing platters for groups of families or friends to enjoy.
Those craving something fresh can opt for the oyster counter and its selection of seafood, or for the salad bar for a custom plate composed of fresh ingredients. The live cooking is “not to be missed” where meat and fish are prepared in the front of house.
Desserts include the spicy fig panna cotta, French toast, Monacoco, or the ‘vanilla floating island’, all skillfully prepared by Floriane, pastry chef at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort.
Accompanying the brunches is live music with an acoustic musical trio (cello, guitar, voice, violin) who play international hits as they stroll between the tables. The “Champagne Brunch Party” also offers a Kids Buffet, with dishes specially designed for children.
