On Thursday, February 29, 2024, H.E. Mrs. Valérie BRUELL-MELCHIOR, Ambassador of Monaco to France, presented her letters of credence to Mr. Emmanuel MACRON, President of the French Republic, during an official ceremony at the Elysée Palace.
During a private meeting, Ambassador BRUELL-MELCHIOR assured President Macron of her commitment to continue and promote the excellent relations between the Principality of Monaco and France, with the full support of the Monaco Embassy in Paris.
Mr. MACRON, for his part, reiterated the strong bonds of friendship that connect him to H.S.H. Prince Albert II and expressed his gratitude for His commitment and presence alongside him for the causes that unite Monaco and France, facing security, climate, and environmental challenges.
Valerie BRUELL-MELCHIOR is successor in Paris to Christophe Steiner, who was appointed Director of the Sovereign’s Private Office at the end of August.
