Mr. Gooijer was also First Secretary of the Embassy responsible for trade affairs in the Netherlands and Turkey.

A lawyer by training, H.E. Ms. Patricia O’ Brien pursued a legal career before taking the post of Director of Legal Affairs at the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the European Union in Brussels in 1998.  She was appointed Senior Legal Advisor to the Attorney General in Dublin in 2002 and Director of Legal Affairs at the MFA in 2004.  She then became Legal Advisor to the United Nations Organization before being promoted to Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Ireland to the United Nations in 2013.

H.E. Following a discussion of the current situation, it was confirmed to the Ambassador of Spain that the Principality of Monaco considers that the Constitution of each State must be respected.  Any situation must therefore be resolved within the framework of the rule of law.
