Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival

The 45th edition of the annual «star» summer music festival will delight the Monegasque audience, as it traditionally does, with a kaleidoscope of incredible events and the diversity of its program. Numerous enchanting concerts will cheer up the Principality, and such masters of the hall as Charlie Winston, Vanessa Paradis, Melody Gardot, The Beach Boys, John Legend, Sting, Clean Bandit and Enrique Iglesias will entertain you from first sight.
In addition, as part of this long-awaited event, such star of Russian show business as Grigory Leps will come to the Principality with his charming program for a second time. The king of the Russian pop scene, Philipp Kirkorov, will perform as well. Enjoy romantic musical chords and a soulful show, because this will be a great emotionally charged summer!

Dali, a History of Painting
06 July — 08 September
An exhibition entirely devoted to one of the most representative artists of the 20th century, Salvador Dalí, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of his death. Under the supervision of MontseAguer, director of the Dalí Museums, the Catalan artist will live again through 50 paintings and 30 drawings dating from 1910 until 1983.
Princesses, Crowns and Jewels at the Chaumet and Majesty Exhibition
12 July — 28 August
The Maison Chaumet will introduce the Art of Tiara, a unique show of the main refined creations which have been designed by the renowned jewellery house for European royal families for 240 years. Visitors will be guided by feedback from journalist and writer, Stéphane Bern, and royals’ expert, Christophe Vachaudez.
Concerts at the Prince’s Palace
18 July — 08 August
All fans of classical music will be looking forward to these events. Weekly concerts in the Princely Palace of Monaco created 60 years ago, in 1959, at the initiative of Prince Rainier III will delight you with artistic performances of the best classical symphonies by leading world musicians. Starting from July 18, these charming concerts in the most historical locations of Monaco will definitely blow you away.

International Pyromelodic Firework Competition
20 July — 10 August
This summer, the sky will be decorated not only with millions of stars, but also with flashing fireworks. Following its initial success in 1966, the Principality of Monaco regularly holds a unique pyrotechnic festival, in which the best professionals in this field from around the world compete for the title. This year, guests and residents of Monaco will be able to enjoy shows from Lithuania (July 20), Spain (July 27), England (August 3) and Ukraine (August 10). The best location from which to watch the show is Port Hercule and the streets adjacent to it.

The Monaco Red Cross Ball
26 July
The 71st Red Cross Ball will be the undeniable peak of the summer season in Monaco. One of the most influential charity gala evenings in the world unites the international elite, cultural personalities and superstars, in the prestigious Salle des Étoiles, Monte-Carlo Sporting. The solemn opening of the event from year to year is traditionally given by the Princely couple. Traditionally, the event also includes a superstar whose name this year is John Legend, a Grammy Award winner and the king of modern R & B and Soul music. The singer will present an exciting piano program.

6th Ladies Rally of Vintage Cars
08 September
This is a charity event organized by Child CARE Monaco to raise funds for underprivileged children in India, to give them the possibility to go to school.
This year the outfit’s theme is Retro style — Flower chic. Meeting at 8:30 a.m. at Café de Paris for breakfast and the distribution and discovery of the road book governing the route of the Rally. The premier departure will be around 9:30 a.m. at the Place du Casino. During that glamorous day, there will be around 20 different nationalities present to share a nice moment and to meet new people as well as to support a great cause.

Monte-Carlo Gala for the Global Ocean
26 September
The 3rd Monte-Carlo Gala for the Global Ocean will take place on September 26 and will coincide with the Monaco Yacht Show. Funds raised during the event will be used to support initiatives for the sustainable use of the ocean by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
Presided by His Highness, the Gala will be held on the Terraces of the Monte-Carlo Opéra and will bring together international artists and philanthropists committed to protecting the Ocean, which is threatened by human activities.
Literary Prize of the Prince Pierre Monaco Foundation 2019
15 October
The winners of the prestigious Literary Prize of the Prince Pierre Monaco Foundation 2019 will be announced at the ceremony held on October 15, 2019, at the Opéra Garnier. It is worth noting that the President of the Foundation is Princess Caroline of Hanover and Monaco. Every year, as part of the ceremony, the proponents of the literary award 2019 and the prize «for the discovery» are announced in order to award the best francophone authors for their work. Among the nominees for the 2019 literary prize are Christian Bobin, Linda Lê, Pierre Michonand Jean Rouaud, while Christine Barthe, Jérôme Bastianelli, Joseph Ponthus, Grégory Le Floch and Sylvain Ouillon will compete for the discovery prize.

Monaco National Day
19 November
Monaco National Day is traditionally celebrated on November 19 and is the principal day of the year for the residents of the Principality to demonstrate their commitment to the state and the Prince. In addition, it is the day of the commemoration of the independence of the Principality, a holiday that was celebrated for the first time on May 16, 1734 under Prince Honoré III. A little more than a century later, Prince Charles III changed the date of the celebration to 4th November. However, the current Prince of Monaco Albert II decided to make this day also a Memorial Day to his father Rainier III and postponed the date to the 19th of November. International Gymnastics Gala «Princesse Grace»

International Gymnastics Gala «Princesse Grace», held under the High Patronage of the Prince of Monaco, will take place on the weekend of 30 November – 01 December in the Stade Louis II Salle Omnisports Gaston Médecin. The event, organized by the Monegasque Gymnastics Federation, will unite the best international gymnasts of all ages, who will show their skills to the Monaco public in such disciplines as artistic gymnastics, acrobatics and trampoline.
