CCN to build new 31m Fuoriserie

Italian shipyard Cerri Cantieri Navali (CCN) has confirmed that they have received a third order for their 31-metre Fuoriserie series yacht. The yacht is set to go to a European client and will be delivered in 2019.

The deal was signed at the end of the year by the European client, who ordered a custom all-aluminium yacht from the yard’s Fuoriserie line, which is set to be launched in 2019.

53m planing model introduced by Tankoa   

Italian boutique shipyard, Tankoa Yachts has introduced the S533 Saetta, a new 53-meter model in its product range. Featuring a planning hull, the yacht will be able to reach a top speed of 28 knots.

The 53-meter model comes as an extension of Tankoa’s existing lineup, which already includes the Tankoa 58 Open that was introduced last year. These mainly stand out through their use of glass surfaces and aggressive lines drawn by Francesco Paszkowski.

Palumbo Group acquires Mondomarine facility in Savona

Palumbo Group, the Malta based yacht holding, is now also the new owner of the former Mondomarine facility in Savona. The deal sees the location being overtaken on an initial, six month lease and saves 9 jobs from the Italian shipyard that went into liquidation towards the end of 2017.

The Cannes Lions is the world’s biggest advertising festival and awards, annually drawing over 16.000 professionals in creative communications in search of unique networking opportunities. However, starting from the next year, the event will be reduced from 8 to 5 days, in the context of a major reorganization plan. In 2018 the Festival will be running between 18 and 22 of June.
