At each Grand Prix, two exclusive and original watch models reinforce the spirit of the race which drives the collection of powerful timepieces. From the choice of materials to the principles of construction, the reliability of mechanics to the legibility of functions, everything has been designed to make the sports watch an instrument cut for action.

For the 11th edition of the event, the new exclusive 2018 Monaco Grand Prix Race Edition Watch will honour the bold spirit of the intense race where speed is a raison d’être and victory is a matter of panache.  The new watches are fitted with dials in the shape of engine pistons and a blue bezel equipped with a tachymeter scale, ideal for calculating the average speed at a race.  The case is 44.5 mm in diameter and is engraved with the logo of the Automobile Club of Monaco. Waterproof up to100 metres, it houses a high-precision watch engine, certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Control (COSC), an essential quality for a Chopard chronograph. The self-winding mechanical movement, with a power reserve of approximately 46 hours, displays the hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph and date.

Optimally legible, the azure silver dial comes alive with the play of light created by the blue and silver chronograph counters. The timer is punctuated by characteristic arrow-shaped applique indexes painted by Super-LumiNova. The bright orange second-hand of the new edition counts the precious seconds of the race, during which speed is synonymous with performance and risk-taking in the demanding corners of Monaco’s circuit.
