After a fun and busy Halloween week we are stepping into a weekend to relax. And here are a few suggestions how you can make it more interesting.
For music lovers there is a concert of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, a “Recital by Julia Fischer & Jan Lisiecki”, with Julia FISCHER, Violin, and Jan LISIECKI, Piano on Saturday 2 November 2024, at 3 pm in Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo. On the program pieces by MOZART, BEETHOVEN, and SCHUMANN.
Autumn and school holidays are synonymous with Attractions Fair in the Principality! From Friday October 18 to Tuesday November 19, 2024 Monaco brings back its great Fun Fair in Port Hercule.
As every year, several dozen fairground workers (78 in total) will be gathered for the greatest pleasure of all! Game stands, recreational activities, rides, bumper cars, food stands… absolutely EVERYTHING has been thought of by the City’s Animation Service, in charge of the event.
There are several interesting exhibitions going on in Monaco these days. For example, you can drop in the Exhibition: “Lascaux in Monaco” in Musée d’Anthropologie Préhistorique.
This exhibition features an original scenography with replicas and an immersive virtual reality experience courtesy of #SPL LASCAUX, all made possible by the Museum’s partners. Visitors can see original items from the Lascaux caves, loaned by the National Prehistory Museum (Les Eyzies, Dordogne) and the Institute of Human Palaeontology (Paris), plus ultra-realistic replicas of the five Cro-Magnons by Elisabeth Daynes, a 1:10 scale model of the Lascaux cave complete with prehistoric paintings and lighting, and low-tech interactive tables and exhibits.
Of course there are other interesting events taking place in Monaco. If you want to learn more about them visit our Calendar.
So have fun and enjoy your weekend!
