Following the great success of the last year, the second edition of the Sports Village is held till Sunday 5 January 2025 on the southern dock of Port Hercule, in addition to the Christmas Village.

Composed of 3 obstacle courses, inspired by the famous TV game show “Ninja Warrior”,  a treetop adventure course and a climbing structure, this fun and sporting activity area will appeal to apprentice ninjas, aged 3 and over.

And for the second consecutive year, a 180-metre-long zip line will allow the most daring of them to fly over the Route de la Piscine from the highest diving board of the swimming pool of the Stade Nautique Rainier III.

Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo are performing The Taming of the Shrew. This time Jean-Christophe Maillot finds himself in an unfamiliar territory – bringing to Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo a piece originally created for other dancers from Thursday 2 to Saturday 4 January 2025, at 7.30 pm., in the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.

This version of the Shrew, devised in 2014 and inspired by his meeting with the Bolshoi Ballet, was his first ever creation for another company since arriving in Monaco.

There are several interesting exhibitions going on in Monaco these days. For example, discover the new monographic exhibition by Portuguese artist Francisco Tropa, specially conceived for the Villa Paloma and featuring a previously unseen selection of sculptures, drawings, films and light projections.

The exhibition takes its names from pietre paesine (imaged stones), whose geological designs are evocative of painted landscapes, on the boundary of figuration and abstraction. This idea of an analogy between nature and technique is at the heart of Francisco Tropa’s work, which focuses on the conditions of appearance and perception of an image.

Exhibition - "The Butterfly Effect"

The Monaco Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology is delighted to invite you to discover its new temporary exhibition: The Butterfly Effect: The Pre-History of Animals, organised under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. Explore whole rooms themed to the animal kingdom and biodiversity, and take a fascinating journey through archaeology and our natural history! It is open until Monday 1 December 2025, from 9 am to 6 pm in Musée d’Anthropologie Préhistorique.

Of course there are other interesting events taking place in Monaco. If you want to learn more about them visit our Calendar.

So have fun and enjoy your weekend!
