This week opened the Christmas village, on the theme of Canada. It is smaller than previous years as it is launched with the public’s safety in mind. From 4 December 2020 to 3 January 2021, four children’s attractions will be available: Hook-a-duck, the traditional Carrousel ride, a new merry-go-round called the “balade en caribou” and another ride in the shape of a tree. The ice rink is also slated to open on 4 December.

This year’s Christmas village will be decorated with real trees of various sizes which will give the Quai Albert 1er a holiday atmosphere. Finally, a chalet will offer pancakes and waffles to be consumed only on the tables provided. The Christmas Village will be freely accessible, with the wearing of a compulsory mask.

16th Monegasque Red Nose Day organised by the charity “Les enfants de Frankie” in aid of sick and disadvantaged children in Monaco and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region is on Sunday 6 December 2020, Principality of Monaco. Foam balls in the colours of the Principality will be on sale from 2 November, to attach to your vehicle.

The day of support for children in difficulty in the region is the day of Saint Nicholas, December 6th. Every person wanting to testify of his solidarity by affixing a ‘nose’ on his vehicle that day, is welcome.

The funny “Red and white Nose”, represent the nose and the optimistic temperament of the clown Frankie, the mascot of the association. They are available, for 2 € symbolic, within the Carrefour Monaco  and in various post offices of the Principality.

And there are of course a few exhibitions open in Monaco. So if you want to learn more about other events and exhibitions that are taking place in Monaco these days visit our Calendar.
