The great international sea rowing event, the 18th Prince Albert II Challenge, is back, this weekend on December 2 and 3, 2023! The prestigious competition, which traditionally brings together the best rowers from all over the world; it is organized by the Société Nautique Marine Society of Monaco.
22 teams will compete for the prestigious title. A total of 110 participants from 18 countries submitted applications, including 24 world champions, 10 Olympians and 2 Tokyo Olympic medalists. Water competitions will be held in singles, mixed pairs and mixed fours formats.
The first place winner will receive 4,000 euros, the vice-champion will receive 3,000 euros, the bronze medalist will receive 2,000 euros, and a consolation prize of 1,000 euros will be given to the rower who is not in the top three.
Discover the thrilling world of exceptional musical adventure with Madagascar – The Musical, a captivating adaptation of DreamWorks’ animated film of the same name on Friday 1 December, at 7.30 pm, Saturday 2 December, at 3 pm and 7.30 pm, and Sunday 3 December 2023, at 3 pm, Grimaldi Forum Monaco.
It is a musical for all audiences; the 2023-2024 tour has just begun and will travel to the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore and Monaco!

Kids will enjoy the play “Tohé’s journey”, it is on stage of the Theatre des Muses on Saturday 2 December at 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and Sunday 3 December at 11:00 a.m.

And for adults there is Fantasy Classic Theatre “Shakespeare lovers” on stage of the Theatre des Muses on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 December at 8:00 p.m., Sunday 3 December at 4:30 p.m.
After the triumph of previous seasons at Les Muses, then in Paris with Marivaux, “Les Mauvais Elèves” return with So British lovers!
They choose Shakespeare and his lovers from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, sing the Beatles, the Kinks, the Troggs in an atmosphere with delicious sixties looks to take us into a magical and crazy universe staged by Shirley and Dino.
Opposite the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, you’ll find Square Beaumarchais and its winter terrace sparklingly decorated for the festive season from 1 December 2023 to 5 January 2024, 12 pm to 7 pm. Step into a warm and inviting snowy scene complete with igloos, and sip a glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne.
Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival 2023 continues with one more concert. One of the event’s regular stars is set to make his return to the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival with his eponymous show, “Ibrahim Maalouf et les trompettes de Michel Ange (T.O.M.A.,)”, following the concert by Dominique Fils Aimé who will be introducing Roots on Saturday 2 December 2023, at 8 pm in Opéra de Monte-Carlo – Salle Garnier.
A different kind of music you can hear at a symphonic concert of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Kazuki Yamada, with Nelson Goerner, piano on Sunday 3 December 2023, at 6 pm, in Auditorium Rainier III. On the program music by RAVEL.
For sports fans there is Betclic Élite French Basketball Championship: AS Monaco Roca Team – Paris on Sunday 3 December 2023, at 7 pm in Salle Gaston Médecin.
Another match is French Ligue 1 Football Championship: AS Monaco – Montpellier Hérault SC on Sunday 3 December 2023, at 3 pm on Stade Louis II.
There are many interesting exhibition held in Monaco now. For example you can visit “Rainier III, the Builder Prince – An ambition for Monaco” is organized as part of the Prince Rainier III centenary celebrations from Thursday 20 July to Sunday 31 December 2023, Salle d’Exposition du Quai Antoine Ier.
