“Shakespeare – Bach” in Princess Grace Théâtre

A play in English “Shakespeare – Bach” with French surtitles incorporated into the video of the performance will be on stage of Princess Grace Théâtre on Thursday 9 February 2023, at 8 pm.

For their second collaboration, actor Charlotte Rampling and cellist Sonia Wieder-Atherton create a poetic dialogue between the sonnets of William Shakespeare and the suites of Johann Sebastian Bach. Like a single piece of music, the switch from cello to words is imperceptible and the two instruments sing in harmony.
