Movie Tuesdays: screening of Scattered Clouds by Mikio Naruse (1967) is organised by the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco on Tuesday 29 November 2022, at 8 pm in Théâtre des Variétés. Naruse is the filmmaker of women who suffer in silence, of entrapped or unattainable happiness. His cinema is nowhere better encapsulated than in his final picture, a work of exquisite beauty.
