“Jazz Concert”

An evening devoted to the greatest jazz composers including Benny Golson, Tadd Daameron, Thelonious Monk, and Randy Weston on Wednesday 4 January 2023, at 8.30 pm, in Théâtre des Variétés.

Most of the pieces will be performed by a quintet, and there will also be one or two duets. Saxophonists Jean-Marc Baccarini and Franck Taschini are regular collaborators, and will be accompanied by comic strip author Jacques Ferrandez, who is as handy with a double bass as he is with a brush, along with Lucio Bergamasco, a pianist whose swing talents are widely appreciated, and Enzo Cioffi, an Italian drummer who has played numerous festivals. Concert organised by the association Monaco Jazz Chorus.
