French Southern and Antarctic Lands at the Oceanographic Museum!

FreeFrench Southern and Antarctic Lands are exhibited at the Oceanographic Museum!
We remind you that two temporary exhibitions, in partnership with the French Southern and Antarctic Territories (TAAF), are currently being held at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco until September 26: “Voyage en terres australes – Crozet et Kerguelen 1772 – 2022” & “From Dumont d’Urville to DDU: the French in Antarctica”.
About twenty panels, combining maps, archival documents, historical and contemporary photographs, occupy the Conference Room of the Oceanographic Museum. Visitors embark on a journey to the heart of the historical and natural heritage of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands, and their contemporary issues.
A conference is also offered on September 9 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: “Les Kerguelen, 250 years of French presence” by the writer and historian Bruno Fuligni.
